Trip to Halifax, NS
I was very lucky to go to Halifax, Nova Scotia for work. It was a 2 week trip. unfortunately I was fighting a stomach flu at the time which did nto allow me to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. The stomach flu and heavy foods were not a good match.
I stayed in the downtown waterfront area which was really nice. There were lots of boats in the water, lots of pubs with good food, and lots and lots of history. I never knew there was so much history there. I did not know much about the Titanic but there is huge history there. All the houses and buildings were hundreds of years old.
My only complaints were that whenever I got a soda, the straws were so dang skinny. Drove me crazy. Then when I wanted some mozzerella stick they only served them with sour cream for dipping. The waitress never heard of marinara sauce.
Everyone I worked with out there was super nice and really fun. I had a blast taking pictures which are below.
Very old cool cemetary. I wished I could have got in but the gates were always locked…

Another cemetary I was able to walk around.

Lots of old amazing looking churches…

Nice old houses right outside of the downtown area…

Other pics around the downtown area…
